Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The Farm Logistics ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you use Poultry Pro (the "Service"). The Farm Logistics is the data controller responsible for your personal data processed through the Service.
1. Who we are (data controller)
The Farm Logistics is the controller that determines how and why your personal data is processed on Poultry Pro. Poultry Pro is also referred to as "Poultry Pro by TheFarmLogistics" within the app.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account and identity data — name, phone number and/or email address, and login credentials you provide when you register.
- Farm and operational data — information you enter into the tools, such as flock, production and egg records, payroll entries, feed and cost inputs, and farm profile details.
- AI advisor content — the questions and prompts you submit and the responses generated, so we can provide and improve the advisor.
- Support and communications — messages you send us and consultation requests.
- Usage and device data — app usage/telemetry, general location, device identifiers, and IP address, collected to run and secure the Service.
Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Paddle, not by us.
3. How and why we use your data
- Provide the Service (account creation, running the tools, storing your records) — to perform our contract with you.
- Customer support and responding to your requests — to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interests.
- Security and fraud prevention — for our legitimate interests and to meet legal obligations.
- Product improvement and analytics — for our legitimate interests in improving the Service.
- Advertising on public pages — where you consent, via Google AdSense. See our Ads & Privacy page.
- Legal compliance — where we are required to process data by law.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to secure, support, and improve the Service); your consent (for advertising and non-essential cookies); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and support tooling that help us run the Service.
- Paddle (Merchant of Record) — for the sale of our plans and batch passes, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Advertising partners — Google, on our public pages, where you consent (see Ads & Privacy).
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by law.
We do not sell your farm records, payroll, or account data, and we do not share them with advertisers.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service. After your account is closed, we retain data only as long as necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes (for example, tax and accounting records), after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion at any time (see your rights below).
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access your personal data, to request correction or erasure, to request restriction of or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, and we will respond to requests within one month. To exercise any right, contact us through our contact page.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated accounts. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we put in place appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or reliance on adequacy decisions) to protect your data when it is transferred internationally.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the Service and, on public pages, analytics and advertising cookies where you consent. You can manage cookies through your browser and manage personalised ads through your Google ad settings. For details on advertising cookies, see our Ads & Privacy page.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. For any privacy question or request, reach us through our contact page.
